United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley celebrated the end of its 2018 campaign Feb. 26 at the Courtyard Marriott in Phenix City, and revealed their 2018 campaign total – $7,075,819. More than 200 guests attended the celebration.
“Thanks to generous donors and volunteers, we not only met but exceeded this year’s campaign goal,” said Randy Burt, 2018 United Way Campaign Chair and District Manager of Publix Supermarkets. “Leading United Way’s campaign was truly an honor and I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to do that,” he added.
United Way’s 2018 campaign theme was “United We Win.” This year’s campaign goal of $7 million was revealed at the campaign kickoff in August. By working together, the community exceeded that goal.
“United Way’s longstanding success is made possible by the generous donations of our community,” said Scott Ferguson, President & CEO of United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley. “For nearly 70 years, Chattahoochee Valley residents have united as a strong force to make the community a better place to live for everyone, especially those that need it most. We want to thank all of the campaign donors and volunteers for making this year’s campaign another success,” he added.
