Chattahoochee Valley Community College (CVCC) recently hosted a Ministerial Luncheon on campus. Attending the event were representatives from approximately 25 churches throughout the community, CVCC Foundation Board members, and CVCC staff. Under the leadership of President Jackie Screws, College administrators provided attendees with an overview of the institution, its offerings, scholarship opportunities, and other financial aid information, so church leaders could share the information with their congregations.
“We know that our clergy represent and serve so many members of our communities,” said President Jackie Screws. “At CVCC, we provide a service to help people achieve their educational and career goals, and we want to make sure to share what we have to offer. Our institution could be the answer to someone’s prayer.”
CVCC administrators and clergy also discussed ways to increase partnerships in the community. The luncheon ended with a tour of the College’s state-of-the-art nursing lab. The event was sponsored by the Chattahoochee Valley Community College’s Foundation. For more information on how your church can partner with CVCC, call David Fletcher at 334-291-4938.
