Acre hosts benefit to raise tornado relief funds

On Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 6:00 pm, Acre, in partnership with Southern Living and Woodford Reserve, will host “Bourbon & Beef,” a benefit event to raise funds for the storm victims of the Lee County tornado that struck the town of Beauregard, AL, located just outside of Auburn, AL, on March 3, 2019.

“Bourbon & Beef” will be held at Acre restaurant and will feature a multi-course family style meal, two specialty cocktails crafted with Woodford Reserve, as well as a silent auction component. The dinner will be prepared by an all-star lineup of Alabama-based chefs, including “Iron Chef Showdown” winner and James Beard Foundation Semifinalist David Bancroft of Acre and Bow & Arrow, Top Chef Season 16 winner Kelsey Barnard Clark of KBC, James Beard Foundation Semifinalist Rob McDaniel of SpringHouseCaleb Fischer of Bow & Arrow, Jeffrey Compton of AcreRobbie Melvin of Southern LivingLeonardo Maurelli of Ariccia Tratoria, and Robbie Nicolaisen of The Hound.

Tickets for the event sold out less than two weeks after going on sale. One hundred percent of the proceeds raised will be donated to those affected by the tornado.
