If you are looking for a free, family-friendly outing Saturday, you may want to check out the “Sharing Jesus in the Park” Gospel Music Jubilee at Martin-Idle Hour Park/Moon Lake on Airport Road in Phenix City.

The 16th annual event will feature music from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET with rotating gospel musicians who are members of the Chattahoochee Valley Southern Gospel Music Association (CVSGMA).

Everyone is welcome to attend.

The only cost involved is if you want to buy food and beverages from the food court, which will be run by local churches.

Also, for those interested in buying hanging baskets or tomato plants, The Valley Rescue Mission – in affiliation with its Men’s Recovery Mission – will be on hand to sell those items.

All the children’s activities on site at the jubilee will be cost-free. Some of the available activities will include: clowns; face painting; a bounce house; an inflatable slide; kids’ crafts by Home Depot; the Twin City Pigeon Fanciers; and a hayride.

For more information, call Jubilee Chairperson Denny Grimes, (706) 763-8006.
