On Thursday, March 7, thirteen RCHS students participated in Southern Union’s Business Tournament. The tournament’s purpose is to recognize outstanding business students and to foster interest in business and computer subjects.

While winning at the event is nothing new for RCHS, it’s the first time they have won the Best Overall School Award.

“I would like to congratulate all students for representing RCHS,” said RCHS Career Tech Instructor Tangela Crocker. “Not only were they scholars, they looked and behaved as scholars, conducting themselves with a level of school pride that elevated them above the other participants.” Crocker also extended a special thank you to advisors Ronald David and Deresa Goode.
