The Fort Mitchell Volunteer Fire Department held its 44thAnnual Barbecue Saturday on the fire department’s grounds. The event, held from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. CT, had an enormous turnout. Around noon the kitchen ran out of ribs and chicken, but they had plenty of pork. Outside, a live band entertained folks while vendors sat beneath tents, selling their wares. Kids had a blast with the playground, a rock wall, a giant water slide, a bouncy house, and other fun activities.
