Get ready for a salsa bar, over stuffed burritos and the friendly “Welcome to Moe’s” greeting, because Moe’s Southwest Grill is slated to open in Phenix City the first quarter of 2019. Moe’s will occupy a space in the Halpern Enterprises’ newly constructed retail center located at Phenix City Station on the 280 Bypass in front of Walmart. The 7,000-square-foot property totals three tenants: Aspen Dental, which opened July 2, T-Mobile, which opened October 31 and forthcoming Moe’s Southwest Grill.
“We’re extremely excited of what Halpern Enterprises is constructing with the Phenix City Station project and the Phenix Marketplace retail center and all of the fantastic retailers that will be joining our community. Halpern has been an excellent company to work with and we look forward to a continued future with them,” said Shaun Culligan, director of Phenix City’s Economic Development. Construction began on the development with the tenants in mind.
“Phenix City is an active market we want to be in,” said Halpern’s Marc Kirchhoff, vice president, build-to-suit. “The opportunity to build along US-280 and bring these three national retailers to the area was a winning combination.”
