Tuesdays are free movie nights at the library

Reading Time: 1 minute

Every Tuesday night, the Phenix City-Russell County Library has Movie Premiere Night starting at 5 p.m. ET. The library provides the popcorn and water. The next movie night is Feb. 26 when the library will show Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.

In honor of Black History Month, the Library will have a special showing on Feb. 28 of Disney’s Ruby Bridges, a biographical film about a six-year-old African-American girl who is one of the first children to attend an integrated school. The next films in the series will be The Darkest Minds on March 5 and Instant Family on March 12. And if great films aren’t enough, the Library holds a drawing for a prize at the end of each movie.
