A Seale, Ala.-based non-profit, BeYond Expectations Community Outreach, is hosting its annual Hunger Awareness Day Sept. 22.
Everyone is welcome to attend the free event, which will be held in Phenix City’s Southside Park, 2625 Sandfort Road, Phenix City, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. ET.
This Event brings awareness to the issues of hunger, possible solutions, resources and provides an opportunity for the community to come together for an important cause – Anti-Hunger.
Bring chairs and prepare to enjoy great food, music, fresh produce from local farmers, community resources and more.
This Event is also a community-wide food drive.
The goal is to collect more than 2,000 pounds of non-perishable food to support BeYond Expectations’ food programs, therefore, each attendee is asked to bring non-perishable food items. Monetary donations are welcome as well.
