Team arrives just in time

It was a nice change of pace to stay close to home for this week’s race.  We raced at Smith Station around the track, baseball and softball facilities.  The 5K course consisted of 2 laps with a couple of hills and lots of flat fast racing.

The morning started with the boy’s 5K.  In order of finish, Central had Keegan Dorrill with a 2nd place finish in 16:36, Andrew Scarborough 18:27 Personal Record, Antonio Crisco 19:11 PR, Brodie Norred 19:22 PR, Jackson Ramones 19:26 PR, Ryan Smith, Connor Ramones, Terry Scott PR, and Clayton Harlow. The girls 5K raced next.  In order of finish, Central’s girls team was Adley Burkes had a third place finish in 19:12, Abigail Garner 20:41, Kailey Brougham 22:17, Coco Meacham, Blair Ross, and Jordan Melton PR.

The day finished with a 3K race.  In order of finish was Wade Woodson 13:14 PR, Jonathan Lech 14:12 PR, Jamisen Melton 14:12 PR, and Michael Weil. Oct. 19 is the next race at Auburn’s Keisel Park starting at 9 a.m. ET.
